I'm disappointed in Deviant Art's selection of people who make daily deviations.

Lately it seems that more and more daily deviations are just detailed, close-up photographs of people, animals or objects that almost anyone could take pictures of if they had a decently-expensive camera in hand.

Example:
"Oh look at that (random) rock!" *Points and Shoots*
A submission and a daily deviation later: 5270 views, 380 comments. Summary of most comments: "Amazing picture! The rock is so detailed and the colors are so lovely! You're a great photographer!"

How do these photographs deserve a daily deviation? I don't understand. There are So many deviations to choose from, deviations that people have put lots of thought into and/or have spent hours making, and somehow random point-and-shoot close up photographs keep showing up as daily deviations every day.
